Being the first form of *magick* ever practiced, it's been around for thousands of years and has been used by people all over the world. *Nature Magick* is sometimes called *Natural, Folk, Earth, or Low Magick*. It is not a strange, supernatural experience or something mysterious or alien. It is everywhere. All around us. In the trees, within ourselves, and even in man-made manifestations. This disconnect causes negative results within us and around us. *Nature Magick* is a beautiful way to reconnect with the Earth. The Universe is the macrocosm of Earth and the Earth is the macrocosm of humans. We can use *Natural Magick* on a microcosmic level to affect positive changes on a macrocosmic level. Benefitting from *magick* in turn helps to benefit nature and therefore the Universe as we are all connected. *From the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus:* "That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above, corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing."

Types of *magickal tools* used in *Nature Magick* include trees, plants, herbs, gemstones, rivers, oceans, rain water, grass, etc. I tend to think of any *magickal tool* as an ingredient. To me, it's similar to cooking. Correspondences let us know which tools to use in order to ensure that the *magickal* current raised and directed during the spell is in harmony with the intention of the spell. One of my favorite things to do is to just simply experience Nature.
