**_My anticipation for adulthood,_** **_All started when mama had power over me_** **_I wanted to have full control of myself_** **_I wanted to be in charge of my life_** **_In charge of my say_** **_In charge of my moves and stands_** **_These were some of my wishes_** **_And God had a way of fulfilling them_**

**_Daddy went away_** **_Mummy is old and ill_** **_I now have decision over myself and mummy_** **_I now take decisions of my moves and stands_** **_I am now in charge of my say_** **_I influence the decision of the meal_** **_I even influence that of where she goes_** **_I have power over my livelihood_**

**_But am I happy?_** **_Fulfillment of wishes and I want the past back_** **_I want to travel through time_** **_I want to go to when I never knew my problems_** **_I want to go to when I never had worries_** **_What will be served? The house rent?_** **_Then, I thought of how I would be now_** **_Growth comes with regret!_**

**_I wanted to be felt_** **_I wanted to be seen_** **_I felt I was tiny and inconspicuous_** **_I thought childhood was a limitation_** **_Please take me to such restriction_** **_Please take me to joy_** **_Please take me to Happiness_** **_And Please take me to freedom_**

**_For now I am free but as a slave_** **_I am happy but as a sadist_** **_I am joyful but regretful_** **_The burden is too much on me_** **_My head aches, it will explode_** **_Can I escape this pain and suffering now?_** **_If childhood is slavery to you,_** **_Please take me to childhood!_**
