As I was browsing through my favorite tool for finding new Steemians [Harpoon Search](https://steemit.com/steem/@markangeltrueman/harpoon-search-tag-search-now-enabled-and-a-couple-of-other-bugfixes) I came across this smiling young lady from the Philippines. [Austria in the House](https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@marizen/me-and-myself). On the browser it told me her post had earned $0.45, but by the time I got to the bottom of her post, good ole @surpassinggoogle had come by and given her a boost. Well I am going to introduce @marizen anyway, because she does a great job of introducing herself, as well as some of the local culture in her area. Meet @sown4steem, a Canadian currently living in China. His bilingual introduction introduces us to his organic farming, and specifically to the Dragon Fruit. Welcoming New Steemians Contest

Do you ever wonder why I use #welcomingcomittee as one of my tags?
