Wild Dogs & Barbed Wire!
When we left our remaining teams yesterday, they had just encountered a pack of wild dogs. To the side of the teams was a metal fence with barbed wire along the top. To the other side was the woods. The road continued away from the dogs, but the teams had a pistol with four rounds in it... but there were eight dogs. What did the teams choose to do, and how did it work out for them?
DAY 4 ROUND 1 RESULTS
Option 1 - Attempt to climb over the barbed wire fence.
With the hungry wild dogs rapidly approaching, five of the teams climbed the fence and made it over the barbed wire. Thankfully, they only left a little skin on the barbs and did not end up feeding their whole bodies to the canines. The teams that climbed the fence survived that round, but, they are now inside of the fence....
Option 2 - Attempt to run back into the woods.
One team chose to attempt to run away from the dogs by heading back into the woods. With so many dogs hot on the trail of two adults, the probability of success was not high. The forest floor was overgrown with green briers and wild grape vines, which made traveling slow... too slow...
Unfortunately the team who ran into the woods has been recycled and turned into dog food. Better luck next time, and I sincerely hope that you will be back next time. Thanks for playing!

Option 3 - Attempt to run away from the dogs down the road.
None of the teams from yesterday chose this option. I bet that kind of makes you wonder what would have happened...
Option 4 - Attempt to kill the dogs with the gun.
One gun, four bullets, eight wild dogs, and two brave souls? Maybe not so much on the last one. One team held their ground, clenched their fists and fired their shots. Unfortunately, these dogs were too ferocious and hungry to let a few bullets killing a few of their pack-mates hold them back.
It was violent and it was bloody, but now it is over... At least for this team, until Season 3 starts. Great effort guys and thanks so much for playing. I wish it didn't have to end this way, but such is survival...

DAY 4 ROUND 2
On the other side of the fence, the vegetation is thick. Surprisingly, there are no ticks, which may not exactly be a good sign. As the teams slowly progress through the thick underbrush, they find nothing that looks edible. This is unfortunate, as some of the team members are getting really hungry.
Soon the forest opens up to a dirt road. Whatever is inside this fence, gravel roads were put in for travel. Cautiously, the teams begin to work their way southward down the edge of the road. They figure if they can stay near enough to the edge, they will be able to quickly jump into the bushes if need be. So far, though, they haven't heard or seen a vehicle.
Speaking of sounds, there is a small creek running under the road just ahead. Running water is often a good sign, so the teams start to approach it. The sound of the rippling waters is like music in their ears. On their way, the teams find something else.
Whatever it was, it isn't anymore. Also, it looks like roadkill, which means that at least once vehicle has passed this way in the past few days, perhaps more. Whoever ran this creature over and what they were up to remains a mystery for now. It may be worth noting that they hit and killed an animals though and did not stop to eat it. Who knows why?
Anyway, it could be a possible food source. Should the teams eat it? Maybe it would be best just to try to find something edible in the stream up ahead. Perhaps the teams could even use the roadkill as bait. Hmmm... multiple options in a life and death situation.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 - Forget about trying to eat and just head on.
OPTION 2 - Try to eat the dead thing.
OPTION 3 - Use the roadkill as bait in the stream and see if it attracts anything.
OPTION 4 - Use the roadkill as bait on land and see if it attracts anything.
OPTION 5 - Try to locate and capture something edible in the stream with your bare hands.
