Enter [#follow the writer](https://steemit.com/trending/followthewriter): a writing contest that results in a story that **does** continue.* I'll provide 3 writing prompts right now, out of which the contestants can choose and write their entry. Every following week, the contestants will continue the story of last weeks winner. ### Glitch in the Matrix You and your friend see this while riding the subway. He jokes about how the world is just one big simulation. But is not the first time noticed such weird stuff. You brush it off but over the course of a few days, you start noticing more and more glitches.

### Heavenly Lottery Heaven. It was awesome, for about a week. Everything you could possibly want, it just appears. But after a while, you start seeking out some excitement again. You decide to buy a Heavenly Lottery ticket. Jackpot: a butterfly. One chance to change events on Earth, however you are fit.

### Shady Transaction Cold. The rain's pouring down. You didn't even want to be hear in the first place, but it's not like you have a choice. Finally, the man arrives. 'Can I see it?' you ask. "Show me you're able to pay first, 2 Bitcoins."
