If you are living in a region where winter can be long and you just want spring to arrive, I feel you.

One of my close collaborators and I have recently bought three vintage lenses to add to our small collection. If you do photography and/or video, you should seriously consider looking into vintage lenses.

Although it is becoming more trendy, prices are still way more affordable than modern lenses. Also, you don’t get the «colder» or sharper look that modern lenses have. There is a look, a feel and warmth that comes with vintage lenses.

As I am still new to this, all I can say is it’s worth a little bit of your time to research what is out there. Your look and your style could both gain from these old pals.

The creation of J'aime l'hiver was a spontaneous shoot that lead to a quick post-production. Sometimes keeping it simple and just going for it can breed a nice little creation. I always strive to get the maximum quality out of a process, but recently I've been wanting to create more frequently instead of waiting for a contract or funds for a personal project.
