Der Wanderfalter überwintert als auch als Raupe in Mitteleuropa. Der Falter stellt keine besonderen Ansprüche an sein Habitat und ist in zahlreichen Gebieten zu finden. Durch seine markante Flügelzeichnung ist eine Verwechslung mit anderen Arten ausgeschlossen. ### _The Angle shades is a moth from the family of Noctuidae. The migratory moth hibernates as well as a caterpillar in Central Europe. The moth has no special habitat requirements and can be found in numerous areas. Die von mir gezeigte Raupe ist aus der Zucht und frisst an Salweide (Salix caprea). ### _The caterpillar feeds on a wide variety of plants, so its food supply is broad. Der Falter kann sowohl als Puppe wie auch als Raupe in Mitteleuropa überwintern. ### _The adult caterpillar pupates on the ground in the soil layer. Hier entwickelt sich dann die zweite Generation, die entweder wieder in den Süden zurückfliegt oder überwintert. Der Falter ist noch weit verbreitet und in seinem Bestand derzeit nicht gefährdet. ### _A large part of the moths flies from the south to Central Europe in spring. Here the second generation develops, which either flies back to the south or hibernates.
