First not every relationship is the same and they all have their peculiarities. That said, most relationships where one of the partners are unfaithful usally have some common characteristics. The reasons mostly fall under the same categories and the way forward can be classified under a few range of options.

So first thing you have to do is examine the exact peculiarity of your relationship: Does this person have a history of cheating? Is it a one time thing? Do I have a hand in it?

By using this method ti understand the nature of your partner's cheating, you can decide what the way forward would be, whether you want to continue with the relationship or not.

In cases where it turns out to be the same old story, you need no one to tell you that the thing to do is get out of the relationship. Some people are just promiscuous by nature and their eyes cant help but wander. You may have missed this at first or have chosen to trust the person, but seeing as the event has been recurring with an unhealthy frequency, you KNOW there isn't hope anymore. You tried your best. It didn't work out.

Which is why you shouldn't be afraid to walk away from an unhealthy relationship with an unfaithful partner. Any partner who have been given chances and screwed up those chances deserves to be walked out on. To these people no matter how honest, trustworthy, and beautiful and communicative you are, they WILL still cheat. You're only going to end up putting yourself through so much pain should you choose to stick with that relationship.

When you have an unfaithful partner the best way to deal with such partner are

1. Accept the fact that what happened, you might have some kind of feelings that come with such experience but you have to deal with it. The feelings is natural and they don't just go away but with time the feelings will go especially when you are willing and ready to forgive such partner.

2. Do not go for revenge: having such experience with someone you trust can push you to seek for revenge but that is not the right thing to do because two wrongs don't make a right, if you try to seek for revenge you may be happy temporarily when you seek for revenge but such action will still work against you by keeping you in the state of anger rather than trying to heal and move on.

3. If possible try to keep third party out of the whole issue because nobody might understand your spouse the way you do and getting opinions about how to run your relationship from different people can at the end try to ruin the relationship. The best thing to do is to keep the issue private and deal with it yourself.

4. Try to take care of yourself physically by not letting the whole issue weigh you down. Eat good food, do exercise and drink plenty of water and most importantly have fun.

5. Avoid the blame game: blaming yourself your partner or whosoever is involved will not repair the damage that have been caused blaming each other will only bring more issue and cause more problems than solution.
