We are Sarah and Michael from Canada and have been traveling around the world for over a decade. We've worked in various jobs from an English rep on a cruise ship, to teaching English in China, and even doing a bit of acting! Basically, whatever we needed to do to survive. Combined we have travelled to over 50 different countries around the world and we recently stumbled upon Steemit and decided to share our stories with the world and learn more from other people. ![P1070080.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmWtVaVyKtQUGKMCafoWx6QzMPGdk1TBXJMtciF8DSkmYD/P1070080.JPG) There were a couple attempts where we moved back to Canada for a short time, in the middle of the winter when it was -25C to find ‘jobs.’ We quickly found our days blending together, just like Groundhog day. Even with the comfort and convenience of living back at home, it wasn’t challenging or exciting enough for us. There finally came a point and time where we both realized that we have been doing this for so long that it changed our views on life, and the typical lifestyle that people in the Western world generally have. For us, travel has swallowed us up and we feel so alive, rejuvenated and full of energy when we are on the road, or plane for that matter! It’s crazy when the airport provides us with the same comfort as home and the feeling of being outside our comfort zone teaches us so much more than you could ever imagine. If you can't sit back and look on the things you accomplished or great memories you made the previous year, do something about it. Take action in your life and make it memorable because you only get one shot! If your adventure is having a family and working at a 9-5 job, and that makes you happy than you are where you need to be. If you are like us and feel that there is more to life, and have this idea to live a different lifestyle than what you were raised to do, our advice to you is, just do it. Break away from the cycle, the fear, the worry, and all the 'what if's' and just let go. The feeling of having less and realizing that all of these 'things' you have in your life are just that. Although they may have made you happy for a short time, at the end of the day they are just things.
